Overview

Build Your First 1-Page Interactive Report with Excel and ChatGPT is a hands-on session focused on creating a clean, professional dashboard using Excel 365. A dashboard is a single-page visual representation of key metrics and insights drawn from a larger dataset. Instead of navigating multiple worksheets, viewers can interact with charts and summaries in one clear, organized view.

In this session, participants will use PivotTables, charts, and slicers to build a fully functional one-page interactive report. ChatGPT will be used to dramatically accelerate the design process by  assisting with structure, labeling, layout ideas, and visual selection. The session also introduces core dashboard design principles to ensure clarity and professionalism. By the end of the webinar, attendees will have a completed dashboard and a repeatable process they can apply to future datasets.

Prerequisites

This is not a beginner Excel class.

Participants must:

• Use Excel 365 Desktop Version (this course does not cover Excel online)
  
• Be comfortable creating basic formulas
  
• Know how to create basic charts
  
• Understand how to work with spreadsheets
  

PLEASE NOTE: This session is not an in-depth PivotTable course. While PivotTables and Pivot Charts will be created and used, the focus is on building a polished one-page dashboard rather than mastering advanced pivot features.

Participants should also have ChatGPT. This course uses the free version. No Copilot license is required.
Attendees who are new to Excel or unfamiliar with charts and basic formulas may find this session too advanced.
